Birchbark

Here you see something you won’t find everywhere!
These Journals are covered in real birchbark!

To achieve this I personally collect and process the bark to get it just the way I need it for the book covers.

Because it is a natural material, you will see slight blemishes easier than on other traditional bookbinding materials.
And that also gives these books a certain charm! While these might not be fit to carry around everyday, the birchbark journals are certainly a very special eye catcher for the nature loving writer.

Since the birchbark is difficult to come by and takes a lot of effort to process, there is only a very limited amount of journals available.
